Negatives for Sale!

We have a closet with thousands of physical Fuji film negatives dating back from 1978 to around 2009 when we were forced to switch to digital cameras. Joe wants them to get to their forever homes. (It's really painful for us to just throw out memories.)

Wedding negatives are $100. Wedding negatives with proofs are $200.

Portraits are $25 - $50 depending on the amount we find.

These prices go toward continuing to run the business, which has been very limited for over a year. Our Employee-of-the-Year 28 years running, Jessi, needs to pay her bills! And some of these cancer treatments are crazy $$! We'd appreciate you helping us downsize by picking up your photo memories, and supporting our very small business at the same time!

We are maintaining our digital file storage at this time. Feel free to inquire if you wish to purchase individual or batch digital files.

Please DO NOT ASK for specific sessions right now. If it's not on the list on this website, we haven't found it yet, and aren't going to pause in our inventory to seek out individual requests. Check back occasionally to see if it appears on the list.

We will be posting on Facebook community pages to try to spread our net wide. We'd appreciate it if you help by forwarding this page to people on the list whose names you recognize via text, e-mail, calls, or social media. Even if a couple has since divorced, families might want the images - There are always loved ones who have passed on, cute flower girls/ring bearers who have grown up, and funny images of people dancing or having a good time, to enjoy.

Our wedding negatives average about 13 envelops with 30 frames each. You will find proofs we edited out, retouched film from ordered prints, and sometimes all of the proofs too!

High School Senior, Bridal, Family, & Child Portraits are usually only 2 or 3 envelopes.

If you buy you or your families negatives, you can scan the film or proofs yourselves, send it off for scanning, or just archive it at your own property. (Not in hot attics or damp basements!) (Jessi says scan at a minimum of 300dpi or it's a waste of time/effort.)

Everpresent is our "local" archival option. They have a drop-off point at Ponshop Studios in downtown Fredericksburg.

If you want to hire us to handle scanning, we will send it to our professionals lab: Millers Labs, but it gets expensive, so we recommend choosing your favorites to send away through us.

Mpix is the consumer site for Millers.

We also recommend New Jersey Film Lab.

All these locations return your film after scanning, and do not pull film through bulk scanning machines (which can scratch them)
